Step-by-step

Here are the steps we cover in the video, with relevant links to more information. Be sure to watch to get more context and decision support for potential choices you might have to make as you go:

  1. In Writing Assistant’s ↗️ configuration module after selecting your target topics (and—optionally—adding a URL), go to the Competitors section.

    • Review the AI-generated list of top-ranking pages and remove any that are irrelevant to curate the AI's research.

  2. Select a Content Profile.

    • Pro-Tip: Build Content Profiles in Settings first, using your existing brand style guides to define Audience, Voice and Tone, and Usage Rules. Need more help? See this guide on How to Create Powerful Content Profiles.

  3. In the Knowledge Sources section, upload your own files (like PDFs) or add text notes to give the AI your unique brand wisdom.
