Here are the steps we cover in the video, with relevant links to more information. Be sure to watch to get more context and decision support for potential choices you might have to make as you go:
Go to the Locations ↗️ report (Performance > Traditional Search > More > Locations).
Select the relevant search engines, locations, and devices you want to include in the workspace you build.
Choose a keyword group to focus your report on (and be sure to choose this group for each report you add to your workspace below to maintain a consistent set of data).
Set a date range for the repot, such as "Last 4 Weeks".
Add the Market Share Changes widget to a new workspace.
Add the Market Share Locations overview table at the bottom to a new workspace.
Go to the Keywords ↗️ report (Performance > Traditional Search > Keywords).
Set the Keywords report and filter it by location your top performing location and device type, the keyword group you used above, and the date range you used above.
From the Overview tab, add the Visibility Over Time chart to the workspace you are building.
In the Keywords tab, customize the keyword table's visible columns and sorting as needed.
Add the Keywords table as a widget to your workspace.
Repeat steps 8 through 11 for the second- and third-highest performing locations.
Go to Market Share ↗️ (Performance > Traditional Search > Market Share).
Reapply your previous settings (location, device, keyword group) for your top-performing location.
Set the Search Results menu to Top 10.
Add the pie graph as a widget to your workspace.
Repeat steps 14 through 16 for the second- and third-highest performing locations.
-
